The Veterans Administration recognized Toni as an Unsung Heroine in 2009 for her dedication and compassion for patient care at the VA. In her “previous life” she was an environmental chemist. Toni enjoys spending time with her husband, two adult children and her dogs. She serves her church as a stewardship leader, facilitates personal finance classes and sings with one of the choirs. She also enjoys rehabilitating old furniture, cooking, cross stitch and time for personal reflection.
