Michelle “Shelley” Buell, FNP-C

“After more than six years caring for cancer patients at Rocky Mountain Oncology, I’m incredibly grateful to continue that work in a new role. Having experienced cancer within my own family, I’ve seen firsthand how valuable knowledge and support can be—especially when you’re navigating something completely unfamiliar. My goal is to make sure patients and their families feel informed, supported, and never alone in the process—before, during, and after treatment. I believe there’s always room for honesty, compassion, and, when the moment allows, a little humor.”

Shelley brings 13 years of nursing experience, including more than six years caring for oncology patients at Rocky Mountain Oncology, to her role as a Family Nurse Practitioner. Raised and rooted in Wyoming, she values the close-knit relationships and small-town sense of community that make caring for patients here especially meaningful. She is grateful for the support she has received throughout her years at RMOC and looks forward to continuing to learn and grow alongside the physicians and team she works with.

Outside of work, Shelley is married with two children and enjoys fitness, reading, being outdoors, and spending time with her family.
