“A cancer diagnosis can bring uncertainty and fear, but patients should never feel that they are facing it alone. My goal is to provide not only the latest treatments available, but also the support, guidance, and reassurance patients need throughout their journey.”
“Particularly in the field of cancer care as in many other areas of medicine, the most compassionate way to be a physician is to take a few quiet seconds and imagine yourself as the patient in front of you.”
“I am interested in all classic rheumatology conditions such as rheumatoid, psoriatic arthritis, lupus, vasculitis, ankylosing spondylitis and osteoporosis. I have special interests in Sjogren’s disease, uveitis, hypermobility including EDS spectrum disorders, immunotherapy cancer related rheumatology problems, VEXAS a combination of inflammatory and hematological manifestations.”
“I enjoy helping people any way I can so helping my patients get better is very rewarding. The advances in cancer treatments are really exciting. I look forward to the day when we treat cancer as a chronic disease.”
Dr. Sarah Glynn believes that every patient deserves personalized cancer care grounded in the latest evidence and delivered with empathy, clear communication, and respect. Growing up in Indiana, she developed an early passion for medicine while watching the positive impact her father and grandfather, both radiologists, had on the lives of their patients.
“It takes a lot of encouragement and support to help people feel like they don’t have the weight of the world on their shoulders. We’ll take care of your questions and concerns so you can focus on living your life and putting one foot in front of the other.”
Throughout his career, Dr. Thompson has considered it a privilege to guide patients through complex decisions with compassion, honesty, and respect. He is honored to continue that work in Lander and to collaborate with local clinicians and community partners to support the health and well-being of patients throughout the region.
“After more than six years caring for cancer patients at Rocky Mountain Oncology, I’m incredibly grateful to continue that work in a new role. Having experienced cancer within my own family, I’ve seen firsthand how valuable knowledge and support can be—especially when you’re navigating something completely unfamiliar. My goal is to make sure patients and their families feel informed, supported, and never alone in the process—before, during, and after treatment. I believe there’s always room for honesty, compassion, and, when the moment allows, a little humor.”
“I am very passionate about medicine and feel blessed to be a part of the Rocky Mountain Oncology team in providing compassionate care to individuals and families.”
“I have been driven by a desire to help others and make a positive impact through medicine. I believe we are here to enable patients to live their lives to the fullest. I am excited to be a part of this amazing organization and strive to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients.”
“I was inspired by my mother’s cancer experience to make a difference in people’s lives. I feel honored to assist patient’s in achieving a higher quality of life through our treatments and to develop meaningful long term connections with them and their families through their cancer journey”
